A question regarding burial vaults in Amish funerals

I was interested in the description of the beauty, family involvement and simplicity of Amish funerals.

I have been looking into alternative burial customs and find that most cemeteries in our county have rules which require the purchase and use of a concrete outer burial container for the casket or coffin. Does Amish tradition hold with such a requirement?

It seems unlikely that the simple traditions held by this group would not consider such a container desirable or necessary.
