Chartham Community Farmer's Market

Your chance to buy quality produce from local producers. There is a weekly market on a Thursday afternoon in Chartham Village Hall just off the A28 between Canterbury and Ashford.The market runs between 2.30 - 5pm. We usually have around 12 stalls selling a comprehensive range of goods. There are on site refreshments where we serve fairtrade drinks and a selection of homemade cakes.

The aim of the market is to provide both the opportunity to buy locally produced quality goods whilst reducing food miles and to increase a sense of community by providing somewhere to meet and chat with friends and neighbours. The profit made by the market is distributed amongst the local groups who provide volunteers to help with the running of it.
