250 g dried fruit (apples, prunes, pears, peaches etc.) 500 ml water 1 stick cinnamon 100 g castor sugar 100 ml sherry
Place fruit, water, cinnamon and sugar in a covered dish. Leave to soak overnight. Stir in sherry. Microwave covered at 70% power until the fruit is soft, 15-20 minutes. Serve cold with fresh Greek-style yogurt or cream.
