What was your best or worst farm holiday?

Most of us have a bad or brilliant holiday experience to relate. I remember ours was on a farm in South Africa where there had been totally false advertising and the food was so bad, and so minimal with what was offered every day that my father and another guest scaled the vegetable fences one night and pulled up carrots and vegetables in the moonlight because they were starving!
