Natural Ways of Getting Rid of Termites by: Countryfarm Lifestyles
When I was younger my mother used to swear by Jeyes Fluid, a brown, tar-like liquid that she would put into a bucket and mix with water until it was a milky solution and she used it on her roses. Not only did it keep termites away, but it also seemed to keep the beetles and other beasties away too. However, it is not an organic product.
What you could use as an organic solution to your termite problem use boric acid. Here is a recipe:
8 ounces powdered boric acid 1/2 cup flour 1/8 cup sugar 1/4 cup cooking oil
Mix boric acid, sugar and flour together, and then add the oil. Mix well, then add more oil as needed to form a soft dough. Shape into small balls the size of marbles. (If balls are placed in opened, plastic sandwich bags, the dough will stay softer longer.) Place balls inside the termite hills. When dough becomes brick hard, replace with a fresh batch.
This should solve your termite problem. You can also use this method to get rid of ants, cockroaches and silvermoths in your house.
