Intelligent, fit, hard working and passionate earth-mama type seeks farm love for the next half of life!

The second half of life beckons! I am a successful environmental professional currently planing to relocate from the the beautiful but rainy northwest rat race. Farming calls....though I started an environmental education & outreach non-profit, which I can move anywhere in the US. I'm usually politically active, but slowing that down now. Divorced for 5 years, I find myself ready & willing to start a healthy relationship built on friendship, love, work, community, & shared farming dreams! (Now I just need a farm and a farmer!)
Waking up to the sound of a rooster, I keep laying hens now. But once I was a shepherd...so I want to learn how to make goat or sheep cheese next. Somehow my career path has slowly turned me into a gal who now loves to cook, put up food, tend animals, 'manimals' & children. I sometimes teach kids ecology in schools, and have run 'after school' programs about food and farming at a local winery/farm, called Farm Hands. I'd still be open to adopting kids, or just help take care of kids on the farm maybe, but am mostly seeking the right guy to build a life with.
One dream is to live on a co-operative farm with other people, partly off-grid w/renewable power, with my own true love (who's more experienced in farming than I am) I've lived and worked on several farms in my life, including in NZ, and 2 old friends started big CSA's out here that I have helped with before. When I was a shepherd on the Navajo reservation for 6 months, where we had no running water or electricity, and it was the most contented time of my life. I'm easy to please, great with animals, but enjoy fruit & vegetable gardening too. I adore pruning fruit trees, & hope to keep bees one day. I love music, & like to dance. I'm blessed with many Friends who love my passion for the environment, my cooking & my laughter. I work hard, and stay committed once I choose a path. I'm looking to move back east to be closer to family & my aging father for a while. I love the west coast, but it's time to go east right now.

I'm a strong but passionate woman, and so... I need a good man who knows how to be in relationship, knows himself, & knows that it takes love, work, & laughter to stay together in these crazy times!
