Lamb scours

Lamb scours

I fed my two day old baby lamb the artificial colostrum for 24 hours and then switched to a lamb milk replacement. I switched cold turkey (sorry I misread the slowly section) and have been feeding her between 140 and 180 mls four times a day. The packet says three feeds of 233mls so this was my interpretation of introducing slowly. Can I stop feeding her milk for 24hrs if she is only 3 days. She is very lively and vocal still.

No, I don't advise it. I suggest you carry on as you are, and make sure that you follow the instructions per the replacement milk you are feeding her.

As long as she is lively and vocal she stands a good chance of making it.
