Natural Repellants and Pesticides

I was reading yesterday about Natural pesticides and repellants which went something like this.

Lemon sented cleaners like pine sol and lemon pledge will repell spiders. I believe lemon juice was mentioned also.

I also read the lavender will also do the same thing.

Well I have decided to clean my house from top to bottom with anything that has lemons or lavender. I want to see if it will really work, as I have been over taken by these eight legged creatures. So my experiment is underway.

However these cleaners are not exactally what I was looking for because the are not natural. The article also mention a neem oil that I will also look for as an alternative to the chemicals.
