crafts and cotton crafts have started to come back into fashion over
the years with many learning to knit or crochet
for the first time. Learning to spin
has also become a hobby for some, and during my lifetime I learned to
crochet first, at the age of 10, learned to knit at 15, and finally
learned to spin when I was in my early 30s.

but do enjoy all of these, from time to time, some more than others.
Of course, now I have more hobbies on the horizon, and at this stage in
my life I would really like to learn how to weave.
However, every time I look at how to set up a loom, even a simple loom,
I tuck that thought at the very back of my mind, once again, as it just

cotton fabric that I had bought wasn't very good, and soon the
bedspread started to fray and come away at the seams. A lot of hard
work for nothing.
So, when you make your next craft project, make sure that you are only
using the best materials you can afford.
Without good materials, you run the risk of wasting both time, and
