west paddock - your horse and trained dog welcome
Our farm managers introduced guinea fowl about 11 years ago and we have had no Japanese beetles or ticks until this year when they let the flock dwindle to one bird in advance of their move to Arkansas!
Here's an ad to attempt to find replacements for this terrific couple:
Looking for a long-term commitment from a couple who enjoy caring for horses, yard birds, lawns, flowers, veggie and fruit crops on small, 5 acres farm. Very nice home with 2 private entrances, lovely views - kept lovely by you. Pay only 20% of electricity bill.
Plenty of barn & garage storage for tour equipment & tools.
Loyal managers of 13 years have inherited their own farm, freeing up this home and p/t job.
Apartment is the basement of owner's home. All south-facing windows and glass door. W&d in closet. Nice finishes. Word stove in brick-walled bedroom. Elec. heat & a/c.
The broader ranges of skills, the better, including talent with ix-it and handyman jobs.
Beautiful country area with lots of farms, craft shops, musicians and artists all around. Less than an hour from both Balt. & D.C.
