Thank-you for this detailed info - my 1st time with Favas!

Thank-you for this detailed info - my 1st time with Favas!

I will be growing my first favas this year in Zone 5b. I looked at many packages and was concerned I was already too late - the package said to plant in October or November. Then I found some with an April planting time, so I'm trying those.

There is snow on the ground today, but the ground is workable. (April 11th). Is it time?

What, other than garlic and marigolds, likes to be close to favas?

Is bone meal a good alternative to dolomite or not in this case?

Thank-you again!
