Feeding rabbits cabbages, spinach and kales

Feeding rabbits cabbages, spinach and kales

You can actually feed them on Cabbages, Spinach and Kales - ON ONE CONDITION. You must first dry them. Put them in the sun to loose the moisture i.e. let them wither. Then you can feed to the rabbits.

I also feed my rabbits on green corn peels - the extra soft ones that line the corn itself. Dried sweet potato peels, potato peels, and very ripe tomatoes (that haven't been refrigerated).

My rabbits also feed on sweet potato vines and amaranth. However, you should not feed them on cauliflower as they are dangerous.

Thank you, Monica for your information on feeding rabbits. Your contribution is much appreciated.

Kathryn
