Just Starting Out Homesteading

The article on homesteading I just read was great.

We are just starting out and hope to become self sufficent. We dont have a lot of land but it will be enough for what we want to do.

Right now we have 26 chickens, 2 rabbits with plans for several more, a small garden and 2 dogs.

With the price of food and all the steroids they are using in our meats we decided to raise our own. We have plans on adding meat goats next year. Any advice we can get would be greatly appreciated.
