How to Make Homemade Oatmeal Cookies - Makes 40

Oatmeal cookies are generally liked by most people, kids included. And so here is an easy recipe that I like as it has far less sugar than most cookie recipes and to be honest, you cannot tell the difference once you get to taste them!

If you want to make something different with this basic recipe, you can add some dried ginger to taste.  You end up with a lovely ginger cookie that has a zing to it.

Oatmeal Cookie Recipe

Who doesn't like oatmeal cookies? This is an easy recipe to start with and this recipe will make about 40 cookies.

Oatmeal Cookies1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup thin cream
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup oatmeal
2 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
4 tablespoons melted butter

Beat the egg and add the sugar, cream, and milk.

Run the oatmeal through
a food processor for 1 minute, and mix with the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Stir all into the mixture, add the melted butter, and mix thoroughly.

Roll thin, cut, decorate with the back of a fork, and bake in a quick oven until golden brown. About 10 minutes.

However, each oven is different and you need to keep an eye on your cookies just in case they burn.
